Needing to get out of your space and dying for a better view? In times like these, a road trip to sunny Palm Springs sounds like the dose of Vitamin C we all need.

Hot and oozing with mid-century modern architecture, Palm Springs has a magical essence about it. Maybe it’s the desert surroundings and the boho vibes but there is always a feeling of clarity and rejuvenation when leaving.

There are a lot of places to stay in this sparkling desert and we have a list of some of our favorites. Check out their Instagrams for even more Pinterest worthy photos.

Villa Royale

This property is adults only (21+) and has every amenity you need to sit back, relax, and soak in the calm. Their website says a “Palm Springs fixture since 1947, Villa Royale is an eclectic mix of old California
architecture, vintage furnishings, stunning artwork, northwest craftsmanship, and elevated guest service.” Their bar is stocked and their three pools are waiting.

Soukie Kasbah

Truly a bohemian paradise. The details in this house are incredible. The owner showcases their sense of style throughout every single corner. Believe me when I say it feels like you jumped straight through your computer into the chicest Pinterest board you have ever seen. Check out their listing for more deets. Don’t wait, this one is going fast!

L Horizon

Another 21+ hotel, the L’Horizon is glamorous and sexy. While it carries the laid back, mid-century modern meets boho vibes, it also has an heir of sophistication with a hint of naughty. There are complimentary back and feet rubs at the pool and if you can snag it, The Residence may be pricey but it is worth every penny…

The O Spa + Resort

To this day, this is one of my favorite secret getaways. While it is technically in Desert Hot Springs just shy of Palm Springs, this mineral hot spring-fed resort is a must-visit. There are a few rooms at this former swingers hotel that have been transformed into breezy, beautiful suites. The main pool is flanked by a large buddha statue and the very large indoor jacuzzi is surrounded by funky artwork and a sauna. Topless sunbathing is allowed and the grounds are cannabis-friendly. If you need some serious unwinding time, book a room at the O.

Dazey Desert House

With three bedrooms and plenty of space in this cheerful, bright, and modern hideaway you and a few friends can social distance escape together. The outdoor hot tub has scenic views of the mountains and the bright orange and yellow walls will keep your mood up and are a must needed change from the same four walls we have been staring at!

House of Stardust

The house and backyard pool have more than enough space to social distance in style. Plus, they think about everything you need down to the last detail so you don’t need to go anywhere. Take out anyone? From q tips, to skewers the House of Stardust has you covered.

La Serena Villas

Needing an escape from the kids? La Serena is 21+ resort with beautiful rooms and intimate patios. With room options ranging from private patios with personal firepits to larger rooms with private spa/dip pool. Luxury is not spared, you’ll find L’Occitane skin and bath products in every room as well as robes. Or perhaps an outdoor clawfoot tub with champagne served is more your style. Regardless, we think you’ll find something worth booking.
